Hey Melanie!
Welcome back! I am so glad I was able to help you with your first question.
The dates for
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) are typically release in May each year. Last year they released the dates and the ticket went on sale on May 8. To be one of the first to know the dates keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. I would start checking the last week of April.
When it comes to making
Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) it will just be a guessing game until the official dates are released. However, I have learned a couple of tricks over the years to help me in this situation. The first is to check out last year's calendar to get a good estimation of what this year might look like. EasyWDW has an extensive calendar which shows park hours and special events from previous years. You can find their calendar for last October by searching Google for "
October 2013 Walt Disney World Crowd Calendar". Another trick is to look at the
park hours currently listed on the Walt Disney World website. You will notice there are nights where the Magic Kingdom closes are 7:00 p.m. While this won't be 100% accurate, it is a really good indicator of when MNSSHP might be.
Once you know the dates from last year you will be able to make a better decision on when and where to make your ADRs.
Good luck with your planning. I am always here to help if you have any other questions.
Have a pixie-dusted day!
