Ahoy, Valerie!
It is wonderful to hear from you again! I'm excited you have booked your next magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line on the fantabulous
Disney Fantasy! You have a lot to look forward to when you set sail on this spectacular vessel including splashtacular fun on the
AquaDuck, dancing the night away in
The Tube, seeing your favorite Genie makes wishes come true in
Disney's Aladdin-A Musical Spectacular and hearing the ship's horn play some of your favorite Disney tunes! The Magic will be Endless on your cruise with Captain Mickey!
Not only is the ship a destination, but also the beautiful
Eastern Caribbean islands you'll visit during your week with Disney Cruise Line. Waking up to gorgeous scenery every day is one of my favorite parts of a cruise vacation! And most destinations have a pier long enough to accommodate the Disney Fantasy including Tortola and St. Thomas. I've visited both of these tropical locations on past cruises, and every time we were able to dock and not have to utilize tenders. The only Caribbean island I've experienced a tender is Grand Cayman, which is on the Western Caribbean route. You can always double-check to see if a port requires tendering by looking for an asterisk by the name of the island on the cruise itinerary.
Valerie, I've enjoyed assisting you again with another excellent cruise question! If you think of anything else, please write back.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
