About ten years ago our family rented one person speed boats at Polynesian resort, do the resorts still do this? Can’t find anything about them just the motorized big boats and kayaks and canoes?

    Angel,

Ahoy, and thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

My family also had a fantastic time renting the Searaycer boats on the Seven Seas Lagoon. In pairs of two we explored the Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake, and got some great pictures of so many of the area resorts!

Unfortunately I found out on a trip earlier this year that Disney does not have these boats any longer. They used to also have them at Disney Springs, but those are gone too.

    BONUS TIP
I get your disappointment. But don't think of the pontoon boat as a poor substitute. We have had several wonderful experiences renting a pontoon, both in the daytime and the evening. A group of friends once invited me to join them on an evening cruise. We got to sail by all the area resorts for some great photos, and as night set in we were thrilled to get an up close viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant. After that they navigated our ship to a prime viewing spot on the Seven Seas Lagoon to watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom Park. No bustling crowds to navigate, no rush for the exit afterwards, and they even supplied snacks!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
