how is the temperature during the month of December?what should I pack to wear?

    Araceli,

December in Orlando really swings from extreme to extreme when it comes to weather. I have been there in December when it was very summer-like, and I could easily have been swimming in the pools without any discomfort. I have also been there where slacks and jackets were a must. So you really have to pack for all eventualities. And pack for layers, so that you can add or subtract as the weather changes during the day.

But let's get to some facts. The National Weather Service says that in December Orlando enjoys highs in the low 70s, and lows in the low 50s. So what does that mean?

Definitely pack shorts for park days, but have a few pairs of pants in case you get a cold blast. And regardless of what swing of weather you get, you will have to have some sweaters or light jackets for your evenings, if you want to avoid being uncomfortable during nighttime parades or fireworks.

As for rain, you are not there during the rainy season, so that is good. I suggest that you keep an eye on Orlando weather conditions right before you leave for vacation. If it looks like it will be rainy, bring some light ponchos along, so that you don't have to pay the inflated prices for the ones here. Otherwise, you should have sunny days ahead!

BOTTOM LINE: Pack for summer vacation, but bring a few sets of fall clothes with you for evenings and possible temperature drops.

    Have a magical vacation!
