Can you tell me how to get to Beaches and Cream soda shop? We would be traveling from Pop Century Resort. Have you been there? Thanks Marylou Rossi

    Hi MaryLou,

We LOVE Beaches and Cream, which is the table service soda shop located at the Beach Club resort. The burgers are juicy and delicious and the ice cream sundaes are huge and unbelievable. A visit there is part of every one of our Disney trips.

There are a number of options you can use to travel from the Pop Century resort to Beaches and Cream. The easiest option is to take the Disney bus from Pop Century to Epcot. Enter Epcot and walk through Future World and back to the World Showcase. Just past England, and before the bridge to France, there is a back exit to the Epcot resort area. Exit Epcot and walk straight ahead. The Beach Club will be on your right just a short walk from the park. This option requires the use of a park ticket though.

If you do not have a park ticket, you can take a bus from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios. Just before the entrance to the park, you will find a boat dock. This boat will take you from Hollywood Studios to the Epcot resort area. You will first stop at the Dolphin/Swan resort, and then on to the Beach/Yacht Club. If you are up for a little walk, there is also a sidewalk that starts back by the Disney bust stops and goes along the river to the Epcot resort area.

You can also take a bus from Pop Century to Downtown Disney. Once at Downtown Disney you would need to transfer to a bus that is headed to the Beach Club resort. This is the best option if you are headed there later in the evening after Epcot and Hollywood Studios have closed and the buses are no longer running to the parks.

Most importantly, be sure to enjoy a Kitchen Sink, but come hungry!
