    Can u tell me how it works to have merchandise purchased at the parks delivered to your disney resort? Do the Downtown Disney stores also deliver to your Disney resort/room?

    Hi Pam,

    Having your purchases delivered to your resort is incredibly easy and completely free. I do it at least once or twice during every Disney vacation.

    When you purchase something in the Disney parks, simply tell them at the register that you'd like to use the resort merchandise delivery service. The cashier will give you a very simple form to fill out with your name, address, and your resort room number. They'll hand you a receipt and the next day you can retrieve your merchandise at the Package Pickup desk in the gift shop at your resort. The only thing to think about is that it does take at least 24 hours for packages to be delivered, so you can't use this service on the last day of your trip. You should also know that the merchandise delivery service will not transport food items. Even if you purchase things like packaged cookies or candy, you'll have to transport them yourself.

    The vast majority of Downtown Disney shops do participate in the resort merchandise delivery service. The biggest shop, the World of Disney store certainly does. If you have questions, just ask at the register of your favorite shop.
