Hi, Carol! You've asked an excellent question!
Extra Magic Hours (EMH) are essentially extended theme park hours exclusively offered to Guests staying at select Walt Disney Wolrd Resort hotels. Walt Disney World Resort releases their Extra Magic Hours schedule about six months in advance. Currently, they have the
hours posted through October 6 on their website. I understand how this can be frustrating, especially since you're anxious to make your Dining Reservations in a few short days (how exciting)! Keep checking the website, as they are sure to have the schedule for your trip dates any day now. Sometimes, Disney decides to change things around, but here is the current pattern for October:
*Magic Kingdom Park has Morning EMH on Wednesday and Friday (no evening EMH in October).
*Epcot Morning EMH are on Thursday, with Evening EMH on Tuesday.
*Disney's Hollywood Studios Morning EMH are typically on Sundays, with no Evening EMH (this may change when
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens).
*Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park's Morning EMH are on Monday and Saturday, with no evening EMH offered.
I hope this helps, Carol! Your trip falls during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so keep that in mind when making your Dining Reservations- there are so many delicious things to eat (and sip)! Here's hoping that they bring back the Baked Shrimp Scampi Dip this yEAR! Don't forget to pick up your festival map at the Epcot Park entrance.
Good luck making those reservations, and bon appétit!
