Can you tell me the views of the different suites in AOA? We are planning on booking soon. Also which of the suites are close to the main building ? We have two young children. Thanks !

    Elizabeth,

So first of, it appears that the Finding Nemo wings of the resort are the ones that will be closest to the main building, as they are immediately behind the main lobby building. They sit on either side of the pool that you would come upon as you exit out of the back of the building into the resort. These suites will start becoming available in late May, 2012. You can book them NOW!

The Disney Art of Animation Resort appears to be listing three view options, that of views of the Courtyard, Pool, or Parking lot. Clearly however there will also be views of Hourglass Lake (which is the lake that they share with the Pop Century resort. In my mind these will be the best rooms to choose, even though that will mean slightly longer walks to the lobby. Why? They should be quieter, avoiding both parking lot, walking traffic, and pool play noise. This can be especially important if you have kids that you will want to bring back to the resort for afternoon naps.

But if Disney holds to typical practices there will be two categories of room, standard and preferred. The latter typically indicate proximity to the lobby building.

I hope that this helps! Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
