Hi, Jone! Thank you so much for your question about the free
Disney Dining Plan.
I'll cut to the chase, since I know how important it is, and tell you that last year,
Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter did not participate in any of the free dining dates, and
Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside was excluded from some of the dates. I think because they are smaller resorts, they tend to fill up more quickly than some of the larger resorts, so it's almost not fair for
Walt Disney World to make a
special offer at a resort that may already be nearly full by the time the offer comes out.
Other properties that have been excluded from free dining in the past year include Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, the Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and several of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts.
One of my favorite moderate resorts is
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. They are entering the home stretch of a major refurbishment there, and the new rooms are beautiful. They feature double sinks, a spacious desk top space, and a hardwood-look flooring. It's so bright! The resort is big and sprawling - perfect for a nice morning walk.
I'll keep my fingers crossed you can get the resort you want with the offer you're hoping for!
