Hi Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney! My fellow panelists and I are happy to help guests plan their visits to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Your visit to Walt Disney World comes at a great time when the parks and resorts are welcoming holiday magic. Magic Kingdom is dressed in its seasonal best, with Christmas Trees and holiday boughs decorating all of Main Street, U.S.A. All the resorts have their own unique decor, including special Christmas Trees while the sounds of the holiday surround you. It is truly a special and magical time!
The
hours for the theme parks will vary during the week that you are there.
Magic Kingdom opens at 9 a.m., however, it closes earlier towards the beginning of December.
Epcot opens at 11 a.m., during the beginning of your stay, and then transitions to a 12 p.m. opening time.
Disney's Hollywood Studios opens consistently at 10 a.m. throughout your stay.
Disney's Animal Kingdom opens at 8 a.m. at the beginning of your stay and towards the start of December, opens at 9 a.m. Typically, Walt Disney World begins transportation to the parks from the resorts one hour prior to park opening. Guests driving can anticipate the parking area to open 45 minutes to an hour prior to park opening. If you and your family are staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, parking at the resorts is free. If you are staying off-site, the
parking fee varies by vehicle.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
