Hi! Can you tell me if you think the Very Merry Christmas party is worth the price of admission. We will have 2 adults and 1 child so the cost is a lot to us (we're on a budget). We are first timers and don't know if we should splurge for this. Thanks!

    Hi Heather,

Your first trip and at Christmas!  A very magical time to be in the World.

I loved Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and it is a nice treat but here is my opinion.  If your little one is under the six, I would definitely skip it on this trip.  Though there is a special parade and activities including the ability to ride on Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, all the activities start at 7:00 pm and go until 12:00 am.  Would your little one be able to stay awake and enjoy the festivities without making the rest of your vacation miserable due to the lack of sleep?

If you little one is over six and you think you will never be back to Disney at Christmas, then I might consider it more strongly.  However, your child will have so many new and fabulous things to see during this trip is this going to add that much more magic?  Only you can answer that!

If it were me, I would skip the party this time and then go the next time I am in Disney World.  This would the one extra my family does on the trip which would make the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party as special as it is!

    Enjoy!
