Can you tell me the stops a bus makes from hotel to theme parks if I stay in one of the All Stars? Which hotel goes first and which goes last? Is that bus only for those 3 hotels or more? Thank you!

Hey, howdy, hey, Monica, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your transportation question today! As a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, the complimentary resort transportation options make it quick and easy to get around the entire Walt Disney World Resort area; it's one of the top perks for onsite guests (and it keeps me coming back again and again!)

Monica, generally each Disney Resort hotel will have its own dedicated bus to service the guests at that resort. While the three All-Star Resorts are near one another and may share buses depending on demand, in my experience, this is not often. Having stayed at all three of these hotels over the years, there have been only a handful of times where we have shared a bus, and those times were usually if we were very late leaving the theme parks or if we had just missed a bus for our resort and another driver who was headed to a neighboring resort offered to make the extra stop for us! In those cases, the drop-off order starts with Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, then Disney's All-Star Music Resort, and finally Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.

For each of these resorts, there will be one pick-up and drop-off location, central to the food court and gift shops. If you've booked a preferred room on your reservation, you will usually be in a building that is closer to the bus stop than a standard room, but we find that the walk to and from the bus stop has always been manageable, although some late nights when our feet are extra tired, we look longingly at the closer buildings!

Monica, one quick bonus tip I'll give you about bus transportation - use the My Disney Experience mobile app to check the Bus Wait Times for your destination as you prepare to head out! This feature is available under the Hotel Reservations tab on the app and offers real-time updates about when the next bus will arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, as well as an estimated time for when you will arrive to your destination. This is one of my favorite features in the app and helps us to time our departures successfully and avoid long wait times for transportation!

I hope this helps, Monica! No matter which All-Star Resort you choose, I know you'll enjoy the fun themes they offer and the benefits of being closer to the magic, and surrounded by it at all times! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know!
