Hi! Can you tell me if any of the rooms at Carribean Beach have been renovated and have wood floors? Thank you!

Hi there, Colleen! I am so happy you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I had the pleasure of staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort this summer, and I was utterly blown away by the recent renovations. In addition to the room updates, Old Port Royal (where you will find all of your shopping and most of your dining) has been completely updated as well! At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, you can journey “Under the Sea” to dine on the Caribbean’s best as Sebastian’s Bistro featuring an all-new menu, where I recommend the Jerk Chicken and the Caribbean Pull-apart Rolls. The all-new Disney Skyliner station has made transportation from the resort to the theme parks a breeze, as both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are only a gondola ride away.

I am happy to tell you that other than routine maintenance, all room renovations at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort have been completed! While the existing flooring was replaced, it was substituted with a new carpet that channels the Caribbean with an earth-toned geometric pattern.

Colleen, I hope that this answered your question! Please come back if we can help you answer any other questions on your vacation planning adventure!
