How can I tell which rides and attractions will be closed for maintenance during my stay? Our dates are Jan 12th - Jan 22nd..

    Emmanuel,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

If you go to the Interactive Park Calendar on the Walt Disney World website, under the listing for each park there will be a "Closed for Refurbishment" section. You can open that up for a list of anything closed at the time of your visit. To find this calendar, simply hover over "Parks & Tickets" on the main website page, then click on the "More Hours" feature that shows up on the right of the pop-up window.

You can simply toggle to your park dates via the "Change Date" icon at the top left. This calendar will typically show this information for the upcoming 90 days, so most of your trip in January is already covered. As an example, I looked at you first date and it does show the Walt Disney World Railroad being closed.

It is important to leave a final warning. Items under refurbishment can change over time. Could something be added to the closed list between now and your planned vacation time? Sure. But for the most part, you should be able to rely on this list being fairly final.

    BONUS TIP
I know you are writing from Australia. You will need to go to the United States version of the Walt Disney World website to see this calendar information.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
