Greetings, Jennifer!
There's no better way to beat the summertime Florida heat, than hanging out at one of
Walt Disney World Resort's Water Parks!
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is an ideal place to relax, with its 3,000-foot lazy river. Plus, it's perfect for families with kids of all ages thanks to the area just for preschoolers called
Tike's Peak. Guests can also get their heart racing by riding
Summit Plummet – the 12 story tall free-fall body slide! My kids and I have spent many hours in
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, which is the largest wave pool in North America. But my favorite attraction is
Miss Adventure Falls because it offers up family-friendly thrills.
You're sure to soak up plenty of fun, but a way to make your day even cooler is to
rent a cabana (also called Polar Patios and Beachcomber Shacks). Unfortunately, there's not an option to rent one for just half a day. Currently, pricing for the summer season is $362.10, which includes tax (prices are always subject to change, however). It's a splurge, but my family enjoyed having a shady spot to rest away from the bustle of the Park when they needed downtime. It also includes a service attendant who will stock a cooler with ice and bottled water, get your refillable drink mugs, and take your food orders. Another, more economical choice would be to rent Lodge Umbrellas (at Blizzard Beach) or Getaway Glen Umbrellas (at Typhoon Lagoon). All these options tend to be popular during the summer months, so I'd suggest booking one soon. Call (407) 939-7529 or 0800 16 90 743 (UK) and ask them to direct you to Enchanting Extras.
I hope you're able to chill out during your holiday this summer, Jennifer! Come back and see us again if you have any more questions.
