Hi Laurie!
Welcome to planDisney! Are you ready for an adventure in the Great Outdoors? A stay at the
Cabins in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offers Guests exactly that. With plenty of room for 6 persons, the cabins offer all the comforts from home, in the middle of forest terrain. Inspired by the American Frontier, the Cabins are the ultimate in 'glamping' experiences!
The Cabins offer wonderful amenities such as a refrigerator, two burners, and sink, as well as cookware for Guests who prefer to whip up breakfast or dinner. Within the bedroom, you will find a Queen size bed and bunk beds, plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The Cabins were remodeled in 2016, and the Murphy Bed in the living room was replaced with a Queen size pull-out sofa bed. Personally, both adults in our party did not have any issues getting a good night's sleep. The mattress was comfortable, and there was plenty of space for them to find a good spot for dreaming.
Fort Wilderness Tip: The best way to get around Fort Wilderness is by renting a
golf cart. A golf cart will allow you to access the smaller roadways, and you can move easily throughout the 750-acre resort. Be sure to check out some of the permanent residents of Fort Wilderness such as deer, rabbits, and more while navigating the paths either by cart or on foot. Also, don't forget to check out some of the recreation options here, such as the
Meadows Swimmin' Pool and Movies Under the Stars.
Hope this helps you plan a most magical vacation!
