Could you tell me if the monorail or the boat transportation is quicker when coming from the Magic Kingdom and going to the Grand Floridian Hotel? Planning to have dinner there and do not want to be late!

    Hi Patricia,

I just went to my favourite transport planning site www.ourlaughingplace.com and used their transport wizard tool. It told me that to get from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian via the Monorail will take 17 minutes and via the boat will take 13 minutes. One thing to bear in mind though is you will need to allow for waiting time for your mode of transport.

I think if you allow 30 minutes you'll be fine, enjoy your meal,
