Could you tell me a little about the dining plan if I opted for the middle plan does that mean the 1 table service meal I could do a character meal everyday? Also could my 10 & 11 year old kids pay adult price but eat from the kids menu as they are fus

    Hi Lorna,

You're talking about the basic Disney Dining Plan with one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per person for each night of your trip. With any of the plans that include table service meals, you're absolutely welcome to use those credits in whatever way you wish. If you'd like every table service meal to be a character meal, then that's absolutely fine. I will tell you that the character meals do book up quickly, so if that's your plan, then I encourage you to make reservations as soon as possible.

The Disney character meals are all either buffet or family style meals with a variety of foods that appeal to younger guests. Your children are welcome to eat from any part of the offerings. They may have "kid food," "adult food," or both. At a traditional menu-based table service restaurant, just tell your server what your kids are interested in. The VAST majority of the time they will be allowed to have an adult sized portion of something on the kids menu.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
