    Hello, can you tell if Be Our Guest restaurant will be quick service during lunch, and if so do we still have to make a reservation? Also I heard a rumor that now in 2013 you wont be able to use your meals as snacks if you don't use them? True? Thanks!

    Hi Alana!

    While the New Fantasyland expansion is exciting for all guests alike, those true Disney foodies are anticipating the opening of Be Our Guest Restaurant.  Serving French inspired cuisine, guests have the opportunity to dine within several themed rooms, reminiscent of the castle rooms in "Beauty and the Beast".  

    According to Disney, lunch will be quick service, with guest activated order stations, and food is delivered on china, YES, china to your table.  Dinner is traditional table service.  Click on the Disney Food Blog link for a little information on the Be Our Guest experience.

    As for the new 2013 dining plan, details have not been released as to changes in snack allotment and or exchange values.  Technically, meals are supposed to be used as meals, and snacks as snacks.  Cast Members are gracious enough to allow guests to exchange them for snacks so that they are not credits wasted.  Updated information on any changes to the Dining Plan policy will be posted on the Disney website.
