Hi can you tell me when getting a Florida resident discount is it just on the room or is it on the dinning plan too.We will be staying at the wilderness lodge we are trying to decide if we want to get the dinning plan.

Hi, Kelly!  Florida residents get discounts on tickets and hotels at various times, but I cannot find discounts on the Disney Dining Plan.  You are certainly welcome to add the dining plan to a room reservation, but there isn't an additional discount on the dining plan.

Many Florida residents opt for the Tables in Wonderland discount card in lieu of the dining plan.  The card offers a generous 20% discount on many table service locations at Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts.  The discount includes alcoholic beverages on top of your food bill, and many times works out better in the long run.

The cost for Florida residents is $125; or for annual passholders or DVC owners, the cost is $100.  It is valid for a year, so you can use it on return trips.

    I hope this helps!
