Can you tell me about evening carriage rides at Port Orleans. We are coming in Nov and I see times from 5:30 pm on to 8:30. Won't it be dark? Sun set is at 5:40ish

Hi there, Dawn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are two incredibly charming Disney Resort hotels that feature designs based around the romance of Louisiana! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is modeled after the picturesque nature of rural Louisiana while Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter draws inspiration from the richly historic French Quarter. As someone born and raised in the US South, I love the relaxing beauty that both of these Disney Resort hotels embody!

A Carriage Ride along Disney's Port Orleans Resort area is a great way to take in this massive, shared space! Guests taking part in this activity will board a horse-drawn carriage for a 25-minute tour along the beautiful Sassagoula River. Regardless of the time in which you choose to reserve your tour, you are in for a romantic ride! After sunset, gas lamps are lit all around Disney's Port Orleans Resort area, giving the entire space an idyllic glow. So, even when the sun is down, you will experience a lovely carriage ride that you are sure to remember!

I hope this has given you a bit more information regarding the recreation opportunities available at both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter!
