Can you tell me what the dvc member price would be for a 9 day park hopper ticket for 7 and 8 year olds starting November 12, 2021? Thank you.

    Welcome Home, Anthony!

Autumn is a wonderful time to plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Just this week, dates for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival were announced and the Festival begins on July 15, 2021, and runs through November 20, 2021, so you will still have the opportunity to check it out on your visit! With kids in that age range, I highly recommend Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt. My 8-year-old daughter has already asked about us doing the hunt on our upcoming trip. It’s fun for everyone and it gives the littles something to do as the adults sip and savor their way around World Showcase!

While Disney Vacation Club Members do occasionally receive special ticket offers, there is not typically Disney Vacation Club discount pricing on standard theme park tickets. Currently, there are not any special offers that would cover dates in November. The “Get 2 Extra Days” promotion available to Members only runs through check-in dates of September 25, 2021. Pricing for the tickets you are looking for would be the standard theme park ticket pricing available to all Guests between the ages of 3 and 9. You can price those out on the Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket Sales Page.

Under typical circumstances, I would recommend a Disney Vacation Club Member consider purchasing a Walt Disney World Annual Gold Pass, which is a discounted Annual Pass with blackout dates. This type of Annual Pass would be very similar in cost to a youth 9-Day Park Hopper but would come with discounts on merchandise and dining, access to special events, and exclusive Passholder merchandise. However, the sales of all new Annual Passes are currently paused. As a nurse who has been working in the hospital during the pandemic, let me say that November is still a very long time away in terms of the pandemic and a lot can change, hopefully for the better! I would keep an eye open to see if the sales of Walt Disney World Annual Passes resume between now and then. If they do resume sales, and you had purchased a 9-Day ticket, you could apply the price of the child’s ticket to an Annual Pass for that child at Guest Relations once you began your trip. If you returned for another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort within the year, the children would already have their tickets and this might be a nice cost-saving for you.

I hope this helps with your planning, Anthony. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I love talking Disney Vacation Club!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
