can you tell me when disney world decorate's for christmas? and how the weather is at that time? came in june for first tm, weather too hot, want to come back when weather is better. would love to see it at christmas if weather is okay. can you help me?

Historically, the Disney elves have begun hanging the Christmas decorations around Veterans Day, with an eye to completion by Thanksgiving. The weather at WDW will be much more comfortable during the Christmas season than in June. Average summer highs are in the low 90s, but average highs in December are in the low 70s. Bear in mind that those are only averages. I have been at WDW in December when the temperature was as high as 84, but you will likely not get those staggering waves of heat that you do in June and July.

To me, a perfect time to visit WDW would be during the first two weeks of December. The weather is fine, the lovely decorations are up, and the holiday crowds have not yet arrived. After about December 17, the parks will start to fill up to their yearly highs, with the peak between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

    Happy planning.
