Can you tell me how the 5n (2/2014) Disney Wonder Cruise out of Miami itinerary will be like? Other than shorts and bathing suits, what other clothes should I bring? Dressy and casual?Sailing w/ DH, DD6 & DD2. Never sailed before:)

    Hi Connie!
I'm thrilled to be able to assist you again with your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing!  A five-night voyage on the Disney Wonder is a great choice for your first experience on the high seas!  I've sailed on a five-night cruise so I can definitely fill you in on what type of clothing you should bring.  Be prepared for three cruise casual nights, one semi-formal night, and a pirate night.  For the cruise casual evenings, sundresses, capris/skirts with coordinating tops or dressy jeans will work well for you. Slacks with a polo-type shirt or a button-down are what you will see most men wearing.  For your daughters just think along the same lines as what you are planning.  For the dressier night, many girls like to dress like their favorite Disney royalty!  If you don't have any gowns at home, they do have a wonderful selection of gorgeous dresses and dazzling accessories at Mickey's Mates onboard the ship.  Mickey will be in his tux while Minnie will sparkle in her shimmering gown, but you don't have to be that fancy!  For you and your husband, a cocktail dress, pantsuit, suit or sports coat with slacks will work too!
On Pirate night, many Guests like to dress in their pirate attire to fit right in with all the festivities!  All your favorite characters will be in their pirate gear so the pictures on this night are always a lot of fun!  Pirate costumes, t-shirts and lots of accessories are all available for purchase onboard at Mickey's Mates.  If you decide not to dress up, cruise casual is fine too!
I hope my answer gives you a better idea of what to expect, Connie!  I look forward to hearing from you again soon!
    Have a magical day!
