Can you tell me what different activities are available for kids at the different countries?

    Hi Meghan!

Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!

The World Showcase at Epcot has become a highlight for my boys, and the activities offered are the reason for it. Here are some of their favorite things.

First things first…the Kidcot Fun Stops. These are located at each international pavilion, and they give kiddos a fun opportunity to learn about the country. Each child receives a plastic bag “suitcase” and collects cards at each Kidcot Fun Stop. The Cast Member at the Fun Stop will teach them a little tidbit about their country, and they can color the back of the card.

There’s almost always a fun scavenger hunt going on around the World Showcase, as well. And during the festivals, there are often prizes involved. If there’s one happening during our trip, it immediately becomes a must-do with my kids. You can usually pick up a scavenger hunt map at the Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Traveler (and that’s also where you’ll get your prize when you complete the hunt!).

Of course, there are attractions, entertainment, and character meet and greets spread throughout the World Showcase. My boys love the Gran Fiesta Tour at the Mexico pavilion, and the wait time for that attraction is usually pretty low. You can’t forget some of the most popular attractions in the park, Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. And you’ll likely see quite a few princesses as you walk around the Showcase, too.

My boys also love walking around the pavilions and checking out the areas where there are fewer crowds. While most people stick to the main path, there’s quite a bit to explore as you walk back into the areas around the pavilions.

Finally, something fun we’ve been doing lately is having the kids pick a snack to try that they’ve never tried before. A little taste test! It’s been a fun way to have them try new foods.

While you’re at Epcot this summer, don’t miss the Cool KID SUMMER activities at the park. It’s such a fun way to interact with characters, and it’s only happening for a limited time!

I hope you have the BEST trip! Let us know if you have any other questions!
