Hi Moms! Can you tell me what the difference is between the Full Hook Up Campsite and the Premium Campsite at Ft. Wilderness Resort. And if there is Disney transportation to the parks from the campsite. Thanks.

    Hi Sharon!

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Mom Panel with your question.

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a great place to stay for your Disney vacation. It combines two of my favorite things: Camping and Disney.

The Full Hook-up sites and the Premium sites both offer power, water, sewer and cable and can accommodate up to ten guests. The difference is the Premium sites are best suited for larger RVs and are located in desirable sites within the resort, Loops 400-1400. The Full Hook-Up sites have a smaller paved pad. While these sites can still accommodate motor homes, there is also room for one or two tents and are located in Loops 1600-1900. There are other sites which are listed as 'Preferred'. These sites offer the same set-up as the Full Hook-up sites but are located in Loops 100-300 which are closer to Settlement Trading Post, the Marina and Pioneer Hall, home to the Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Revue.

There are two bus routes available for guests staying the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The first is an internal bus route which brings guests from the campsites and cabins to the Settlement. The second transports guests from the Outpost Depot to each of the theme parks, Downtown Disney and the water parks.

I hope this helps you plan your magical Disney vacation.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
