Can you tell me if any of the DCL busses leave the resorts early to get to the port? (arriving at the port at 11 a.m.?) Thank you

Welcome aboard, Debra! You must have an exciting cruise with Disney coming up soon! Isn't it fun to plan all the fun?

If you've purchased Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers leaving from the Walt Disney World Resort, you'll receive notice in your resort room the night before you set sail. This will let you know what time your luggage will be picked up and what time you need to meet to board the motorcoach to the port. Because times can vary based on how many other guests at your resort are heading to your ship, I can't give you exact times. But, normally, luggage is picked up early from your room (ours was at 8:00 a.m. when we sailed last month). Then, the motorcoach will pick up usually between 11:00 and 1:00 p.m. The ride from the resorts to the port is about an hour long.

You mentioned that you are set to arrive at the port at 11:00 a.m. You must be referring to the Port Arrival Time you chose when you completed your online check-in. Since you'll be using Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers, you don't need to worry about the Port Arrival Time, as they know to expect you on the motorcoach from the resorts. I know you might be anxious to arrive at the port as early as possible, but let me tell you from experience, that it's so much nicer to arrive a bit after most of the other guests, as the port terminal will not be nearly as crowded when you arrive and most likely, you'll be able to walk right onto the ship after you check in. Those who arrive very early at the port need to check in and then wait until their boarding number is called. So, you'll get to relax at your resort longer, enjoy a nice ride with fun videos on the way and hopefully be able to get right onboard the ship as you arrive!

Have fun planning, Debra and enjoy your cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew!
