Hello Joanne! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
While
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has always been impressive, the addition of the Gran Destino Tower has really put it over the top! I feel like all of a sudden EVERYONE I know is booking a stay at this fabulous
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and after having the privilege of staying here just a few weeks ago, I see why! The Resort is stunning from every angle, whether you're taking in the beautiful views of Lago Dorado (Golden Lake) or relaxing in the sun at The
Lost City of Cibola Pool.
As I've stated, it seems like everyone is checking off Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on their "must stay" list of
Walt Disney World Resorts. During my latest trip in May, and my close friends and fellow panelists' stay just about a week ago, the order of the
Disney Bus Transportation around the Resort was as follows: Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, Gran Destino Tower/El Centro. We had the pleasure of staying in the absolutely beautiful Gran Destino Tower and loved hopping on the bus and heading straight out to the Theme Parks!
While we were the last "pick up" before departing for the Parks, we never encountered a full bus and never had an issue finding a seat. Bus routes are, of course, subject to change at a moment's notice, so feel free to speak to the
Resort Concierge when you arrive. Complimentary Disney Bus Transportation runs approximately every 20 minutes, so my family and I often plan on an hour of transportation time just to be safe.
While you're visiting, make sure to stop by
Dahlia Lounge for a rooftop cocktail with an unbeatable view or have a feast at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Both locations will delight your senses and continue to immerse you in the Spanish flavor of the Resort.
I hope you and your party enjoy every magical moment and memory you make at Walt Disney World Resort!
