Hi. Can you tell me if communal seating has returned to Biergarten, or is each party still seated at their own table? Thanks!

Willkommen to planDisney, Amy, and thank you for this great question. You will be at Walt Disney World Resort in no time, so like Cinderella, let's hurry and get your answer before the clock strikes midnight!

Dining at EPCOT is always an adventure, and Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion is a rousing good time. The current seating arrangement is that many tables seat up to eight guests, so if your party is smaller than that, you might be asked if you'd mind being seated with another party, especially if it's a busy time. But I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said you don't have to be seated with another party; it would be your call. My husband and I enjoy this type of seating because meeting fellow Disney fans is always fun. Oga's Cantina at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is one of our favorite spots because we've had fascinating conversations and even gleaned some theme park tips from new friends!

No matter where you decide to eat, Amy, I have a tip for a sweet treat that is a must-savor for me every EPCOT visit, and it would be so handy to pick up after your meal at Biergarten Restaurant. It's the Werther's Original Caramel Butter Bar at Karamell-Küche. My tip is to mobile order one (or three!) on your My Disney Experience Mobile App by searching Karamell-Küche and then tapping the blue Order Food button. You can choose your pick-up time and pay in the app. It's easy...too easy because it's hard to eat just one!

Amy, I hope your upcoming visit is full of yummy food, thrilling attractions, and buttery desserts. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
