Can you tell me the blackout dates in 2026 for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. We are hoping specifically to take the tour on Sunday 11.29.26

Hear ye, hear ye! planDisney welcomes Sir Mark by granting him the keys to the kingdom...or at least an answer to his question! Let's talk about booking Enchanting Extras on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. Straighten your crown and get ready for some proclamations!

I see you're hoping to book Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour around Thanksgiving. When my son was younger, our family traditionally headed to Orlando for "Turkey Day," so I'm excited that you'll be experiencing the holiday decor at the theme parks.

As I'm sure you know, Thanksgiving and Christmas are two of the busiest times at the parks, so some offerings are limited or paused during the holidays. While the calendar isn't open yet for your dates, we can look at past years and see that Keys to the Kingdom hasn't been offered during some Thanksgiving weeks.

I know that's not the news you were wishing for, but I do have some suggestions. If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, be sure to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. Then, 60 days before you arrive, the booking calendar should open up for the length of your visit, up to 10 days. You can select a date range to see if Keys to the Kingdom is offered on any days during your vacation. I'm waving my royal scepter to help you snag a spot that works!

Another option is to consider a Disney Private VIP Tour. These are typically offered 365 days a year, but they tend to book up quickly around the holidays. This is a more expensive option, but VIP tours accommodate up to 10 guests, so you can divide the cost; it's Disney math! My pals and I took a VIP tour at Disneyland Resort last month; talk about core memories! I'll never forget how magical that experience was.

Mark, I hope you have luck finding a spot on the tour. I've experienced Keys to the Kingdom twice, and I highly recommend it for this visit or a future one. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
