Can you tell me which attractions have “escape hatches”? Meaning, if we wait in line and then my little one chickens out, can we leave without going on the attraction?

Hi Amy!  Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a few days away??  I'm so glad you have found planDisney helpful throughout the planning process.

It is no problem at all if someone in your party changes their mind about experiencing an attraction -- it happens all the time!  Just let the Cast Member in the loading area at any attraction know that you would like to exit, and they'll show you where to go.  Some attraction queues have multiple places to exit, so let the first Cast Member you encounter know you have changed your mind.  If the decision happens right at the last minute, that is fine too.  I experienced this same scenario many times when my kids were little -- they decided they weren't quite brave enough to try some of the more thrilling attractions, or we needed to make an emergency restroom visit, or some other reason.  Even now, sometimes an adult in our party will enter the queue with us so we can chat while we wait and then choose not to ride.  Believe me, you won't be the first or the last Guests to exit an attraction -- the Cast Member will know just what to do.

Amy, I am wishing you the most wonderful vacation!  If you happen to think of anything else before you head to the Most Magical Place on Earth, stop by and see us again.
