What are the telephone charges from resort room phone....? Is there a difference between local calls and 1-800 numbers..?

    Hi, Linda!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Every Walt Disney World Resort hotel room or cabin includes a telephone with voice mail messaging. As of my most recent visit (in May 2013), there is no surcharge to place local calls and 1-800 calls from your in-room Disney Resort telephone. However, charges will apply for directory assistance and domestic/international long-distance calls. Another nice perk is that all Disney Resorts offer complimentary WiFi Internet.

Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have. We here at the Moms Panel love to help Guests plan their "Disney time"!
