Hello, we have 4 teenagers and with these new Magic Bands that are so highly recommended, we want to know if we can link or add a certain amount of money to them, so the kids can spend it on whatever they want, without asking for $, can that be done?

Hi, Polly! Oh, the power of the Magic Band! It's really a beautiful thing when traveling with kids that can go off on their own.

Your Magic Bands can be linked to the credit card that you leave on file at the front desk. You can indicate that you want the teens to have charging privileges, and you can set a spending limit so they don't run wild through the parks, charging turkey legs for 1,000 of their closest theme park friends. Each band can also be set up with a PIN number, so your kids can have one that is different from yours. That might make it easier for them to remember. My daughter used her school locker number so she wouldn't forget.

I have to say, it's a whole different way to visit the theme parks now that I do have children old enough to be off on their own. No one laughs at me when I make a bee-line to the People Mover!
