Hi Tamara!
Planning a trip to Disney with your teenagers? Don't worry, I’ve got you covered! First things first, let's talk budget magic. I always suggest setting a budget to make your dreams come true without turning into a pumpkin.
Next, you’ll need to decide if you’re staying at the Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll then need to determine how many nights you want to stay at the Disney Resort Collections hotels. They are grouped into three magical categories: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. My personal fave?
Disney's Pop Century Resort – there is something so iconic about this Resort and you have the benefit of
Disney Skyliner Transportation that will whisk you to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT!
Now, onto choosing your Theme Park. As a first-timer, why not dedicate a day to each park? And hey, don't stress about the Park Hopper – it's like a magic wand, not a necessity. But if you're feeling adventurous, go for it!
If you can only choose one Theme Park, I suggest Magic Kingdom as I feel it is the place where Disney dreams come true! And for thrill-seeking teens, conquer
Tron Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Make sure to use the
Virtual Queue for Tron Lightcycle / Run and you’ll get to experience other attractions while you wait for your return time.
Dining? Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! Reserve your
dining reservation 60 days before the ball (arrival date) using the My Disney Experience app. Oh, and check for Special Offers – you might just find a glass slipper deal!
Feeling overwhelmed? Fear not! Our pixie-dusted friends at planDisney are here to answer all your questions. Come back and visit us again real soon. So, pack your bags, unleash the magic, and let the Disney adventure begin!
