Hey there, Karlee!
It's great to see you back at planDisney with another question. A June visit to
Disneyland Resort sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the start of summer. You have me thinking about whether I should plan a visit for my family around the same time. I know my kids would be thrilled to jump straight into a magical vacation as soon as their school year comes to an end.
Speaking of school ending,
Disneyland Resort Grad Nite is returning in 2024 and will once again offer graduating high school seniors the chance to celebrate their accomplishments in style. This long-standing special ticketed event occurs at
Disney California Adventure Park on select nights in May and June 2024, but since it's an after-hours event, it shouldn't interfere with your daytime plans.
As the event kicks off guests without event tickets will be escorted from the park. The Hours & Events Calendar hasn't been released that far just yet, but if you are concerned about an abbreviated day you can make
theme park reservations for
Disneyland Park on days when Grad Nite is scheduled. There should still be plenty of magic and Mickey-shaped snacks to fill the hours just across the Esplanade. If you have purchased Park Hopper tickets for your visit you can also begin your day at Disney California Adventure Park before hopping over for more pixie-dusted fun on Main Street, U.S.A.
I hope this puts you at ease, Karlee. I'd recommend keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog as you countdown to your visit, as it will be the first to share the
latest and greatest happenings in 2024. Feel free to come back and see us again with more questions in the meantime.
Magic and memories,
Amy
