Hi there team, we are planning our first family Disney trip for March 2026. Booking now would secure our preferred resort and room. If a discount is available closer to time could we take up the offer? Is it better to wait?

Welcome to planDisney, Kyssiah ! Spring is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

Booking your preferred Disney hotel and room is always a good idea! But there is always a chance Mickey and his friends will offer a promotion for Disney hotel stays during dates of your visit next March.

Many times, you can modify an existing reservation at a Disney hotel to add a Special Offer right from your MyDisney account. If you do find an offer that coincides with the dates of your stay, you can try to modify your reservation. To do so, log in to your MyDisney account, click on “My Plans” and then click on your reservation. You should see the option to “modify or cancel” your reservation. Once you select that, you can add the booking with the promotional rate. All done!

If for some reason you are unable to modify your reservation, be sure to reach out to a Cast Member or your local travel agent. They will be happy to help you with the process.

To find out about any offers for the Spring season, visit the Disney Parks Blog often. It is updated all the time with news about new experiences and Special Offers for Disney theme parks. It's also a great planning resource!

Kyssiah, I hope this information is helpful to you. Don't hesitate to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with your plans!
