Hi there, Parag! Thanks for contacting planDisney with your question!
Walt Disney World Resort is home to four theme parks and covers around 43 square miles; that's roughly the size of San Francisco! Planning a vacation can be overwhelming, especially for first-time guests, and it's hard to know how to get started. I have outlined five steps for you to consider:
1. Decide which days in January you'd like to visit. I recommend at least four days, but a week is ideal.
2. Choose your accommodations. Start with the
Walt Disney World website; if you still need to create a Disney account, you'll need to do this first. Where it says "Build Your Vacation," select your preferred travel dates and party size. Then click "View Rates." On the next page, you can scroll through and check availability. Since it is the holiday season, there will be limited inventory.
3. When you find a room, decide whether you want a Room Only reservation or a Vacation Package; I'd choose the latter since it includes tickets. Otherwise, you can
buy tickets separately.
4. Choose which park you'd like to attend each day.
Theme park reservations are mandatory and can be made online in advance. Check the
availability calendar before buying tickets to make sure your desired dates are open.
5. Make table service
dining reservations 60 days in advance through the Walt Disney World website. Click on the "Reservations Accepted" filter to see a list.
If you need more assistance, you can speak with a Reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-1936. However, if you are calling internationally, you may prefer using the website's virtual Chat feature to avoid fees. I hope this helps a little, Parag! If you have any more questions, please send them our way!
