Hi there Tricia and welcome to planDisney!
I hope that you and your students are getting excited for your upcoming trip together in just two months! As someone who has led my share of school trips over the years, I could never imagine what it must be like to wrangle all of the plans for the entire group of kids and chaperones alike to a place as intense as
Walt Disney World Resort, especially if you're not organizing the trip through
Disney Imagination Campus and their special student ticket pricing and guidance! When I was organizing everything for
our Disney Wedding this year I also encountered some difficulties in
linking tickets for a number of our guests so I'm happy to share some general strategies that may help:
- I consulted with a member of the Walt Disney World Resort Guest Relations team who advised that if you're having difficulty with your theme park tickets and the limit imposed when you attempt to do so online, your best bet is always to contact them directly so that they can walk you through your options. Note that there are different numbers depending on whether or not you've already purchased your theme park tickets, and the group reservations line is primarily for large groups staying at a Disney Resort Hotel location so be sure to call the right one to avoid spending unnecessary time being transferred between Cast Members! (I recommend calling as early as possible at 7:00 a.m. for the best chances of reaching someone without having to wait in a long caller queue.)
- It's important to remember that here at planDisney, we are not travel agents - especially considering what we have access to through our research - but we can recommend taking advantage of the services of travel professionals who can assist with these specific logistics when it comes to making arrangements for large groups!
I wish we could help you more with this one Tricia, but when it comes to the more technical aspects of linking admission and
My Disney Experience, we always defer to the Cast Members who have the access to your account to be able to do so. In the meantime, come back to planDisney for any special advice or tips about your experiences when you're here in time for the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival; this is definitely one of those great opportunities for your students to learn a lot for so many more educational elements courtesy of the Horticulture team sprinkled throughout the theme park during this time of the year!
Here's to bringing a bit of magic to help your students grow on this wonderful field trip!
