Tania wrote that to delete an outdated notification, go to the "x" beside the notification and delete it. It turns gray and disappears after logging out. I have a notification, but no "x". Is there a time limit for notifications?

Hey, Stella! I am sorry to hear you are having some difficulty with your account. Hopefully, I can provide you with some magical tips to help power your magic wand! Of course, it may help to brush up on your "Salagadoola mechicka boola, bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"

I just pulled up my notifications to see how they presented to me and discovered I had a bunch waiting! Tania gave you some great information on notifications and the instructions she gave are the thingamabob that usually does the job. My first thought for you is on how you are loading your notifications. Are you using the My Disney Experience mobile app or going online through the main Walt Disney World Resort website? I find that using the website is the best way to check and clear notifications.

Next, are you using your mobile device or laptop? When I try to do this while on my phone, I do have some trouble with those notifications. If you can, hop on a desktop or laptop and see if the notifications pull up a bit differently for you. When I went to the Walt Disney World Resort website while on my laptop just now and signed on to my account, the orange notification button appeared next to my welcome at the top of the screen. Clicking on that orange number button, a screen containing all of my notifications appeared. To the right of each notification was an X that could be clicked. Poof! There went the message!

Hopefully, a change in device or maybe even a different web browser will help you. If you still are not able to click on the notifications or clear them in any way, I recommend you give the My Disney Experience department a call and see if their Cast Members can help you with this.

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!
