Is the Tangled Floating Lantern photo op still available in the Magic Kingdom during October? If so, is it only on normal days or also during the Halloween party dates?

Hello, Lauren! I get goosebumps every time I hear "I See the Light" from Tangled. If you're also a fan, make sure to catch the floating lantern Castle projections during Happily Ever After; in my opinion, it's the best part of the 18-minute show!

Last winter, some of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists and I happened upon the magnificent Tangled Lantern Photo opportunity near Rapunzel's Tower in Magic Kingdom Park. Here, Guests get to take Photo Pass pictures with a prop; a magic glowing lantern that looks just like the one from the movie! Although PhotoPass options are subject to change at any time, it is still currently available during regular Park Hours after dusk by the Tangled restrooms (between the Haunted Mansion and "it's a small world"). Every time I look back at those beautiful PhotoPass pictures with my Moms Panel family, it brings a smile to my face!

Although the Tangled Lantern photo is not offered during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will find some other frightfully fun PhotoPass opportunities. My personal favorite also involves a lantern, and you'll find it at the entrance to the Haunted Mansion. The Disney PhotoPass Photographers work their magic in surprising ways with Magic Shots. Don't miss the chance to take a spooky photo with the Headless Horseman at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park! Check out the Disney Parks Blog if you're dying to read all about it!

    See ya' real soon, Lauren!
