On the tame version of Mission: Space, what is it similar to, like Soarin, Star Wars, etc?

    Hi Connie,

Mission Space is meant to be a simulator ride however the tame version is quite mild in its motions. The closest example would be Star Tours; however unlike the large room for Star Tours, Mission Space is a very tiny compartment that four of you are seated in for the space adventure. Although there is no spinning or sudden movements on this version, I highly suggest that anyone is who bothered by dark areas or tight spaces avoid the ride as it may make those who suffer from claustrophobia very uncomfortable. Other than the tight quarters the ride is much milder to me that Star Tours and you are not elevated like in Soarin. Only you know your comfort level and concerns so I would suggest speaking to a Cast Member before riding if you are worried about the ride or any restrictions you may have. There is a safety video shown before both versions of the ride and an opportunity to leave prior to loading into your "ship" if you elect not to ride. Hope this helps, have a great time!
