Hello-ho-ho there, Carol!
Thanks for jingling on over with a question for us today. I'm happy to help!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park is the place to be for festive fun! This separately ticketed event offers guests an evening of merriment with holiday overlays on select attractions, complimentary cookies and beverages at treat locations around the park, and some very special entertainment. I visited last year and loved meeting some rare characters and snacking on gingerbread and snickerdoodle cookies through the night, but especially loved watching
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade make its way down Main Street, U.S.A. as the "snoap" twinkled against the holiday lights and decor.
This parade not only features a memorable soundtrack and appearances by tons of fan-favorite characters but even Santa himself typically hitches a sleigh ride toward the end of the parade. As you might expect, he often brings along some of his elf friends to help check his list (twice, naturally) and give a warning to anyone on the verge of a spot on the naughty list.
One such elf, Tally, has earned a bit of internet fame as of late for his matter-of-fact "Naughty or Nice List" assessments. I've seen a few social media clips of this elf locating guests' names to their delight (or shock). I can't say for sure that Tally will be on duty during your upcoming visit as other North Pole responsibilities always await. My friend visited recently and, though Tally didn't accompany Santa that particular evening, she still had a holly-jolly night filled with magical interactions and merry memories.
I'd scout a spot along the Main Street, U.S.A. curb as Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade is set to begin, but you'll probably need to wait patiently for the tail end of the performance to see if your festive fate can be determined. I'd also recommend visiting
Santa's Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus to see if the main elf himself has any insights to share.
If you weren’t able to grab tickets to the sold-out Christmas Party this year, no need to pout! Starting December 21, select entertainment, including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, is set to dazzle Magic Kingdom Park guests during daytime hours.
The parade is currently scheduled for noon and 3 p.m. December 21 through December 31, so you’ll still have the chance to sprinkle a little Christmas magic into your visit. Again, I can't guarantee which North Pole staff members will be in attendance, but I recommend catching the parade if you can as it's sure to fill your heart with holiday cheer!
Carol, I'm wishing you a holiday season that's merry, bright, and full of pixie-dusted memories. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to sleigh your way right back to planDisney.
Magic and memories,
Amy
