How tall do you need to be to ride the rides at the Magical Kingdom?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jamie! You must have a magical adventure planned at the Place Where Dreams Come True! My family and I have taken so many trips to Walt Disney World, and we always have exciting new experiences each time! You're in for such fun!

There are so many great attractions at Magic Kingdom, and they feature different height requirements. You can view the specific height required (if applicable) on the Attractions page of Disney's website. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain both have height requirements of 40". Space Mountain is 44", Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is 38", The Barnstormer is 35", and Tomorrowland Speedway is 32" (or 54" if driving alone). The other attractions are for any height, so no matter how small your little ones are, there are plenty of rides to enjoy together! My kids were so thrilled when they first reached the height to drive their OWN cars on Tomorrowland Speedway. It was a rite of passage at Walt Disney World for them. They felt very grown up and independent, and to this day, love that attraction since they can take the wheel alone! But, I'm happy that we still have a few more years until they can drive a real car! Yikes!

I hope you have fun planning this exciting trip, Jamie! Stop back if we can help with anything else before you head to Walt Disney World!
