How tall must my daughter be to ride the rides at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom? She is 4 and I believe still under 40 inches tall.

Hi Christopher!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I remember well the excitement when our kiddos reached the magic height requirement for some "big kid" rides!  I am happy to let you know that there are many rides and attractions your daughter can enjoy.  I have filtered this list of attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Theme Parks by height.  Should your daughter have a growth spurt between now and your June vacation, you could add the additional filters for 40 in and possibly even 42 in.  Be sure to include the "Any Height" filter, as these attractions have no minimum height requirement and everyone including infants are welcome to ride.

When my girls were the same age as your daughter, they really enjoyed interacting with their favorite characters.  In addition to rides, I would plan to make time for some Character Experiences.  I also recommend planning to enjoy the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom.  My daughters loved waving to all their favorite characters as the floats made their way down Main Street, U.S.A.  (P.S. - My girls are now 17 and 21 and STILL enjoy interacting with their favorite characters!)

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions you may have about planning your vacation.
