Welcome aboard, Kelli! With a three-year old in your house and a magical Disney cruise only a month away, I can only imagine that there is a whole lot of excitement in your home right now! What a lucky boy that at three years old he'll be setting sail for the third time with Captain Mickey! I can't believe he's never gotten to experience
Castaway Cay before! Let me tell you that he is in for such fun there!
There is a Youth Club for ages three to 12, called Scuttle's Cove. You'll find it just next to the first tram stop on the island. The counselors there have all sorts of fun activities going on all day long. My daughter and son love to go there and we have a hard time getting them to leave! It's a huge sand box! Who wouldn't love that, right?
Now, when he's with you, besides the beach, there are some great spots that you'll enjoy exploring with him. Monstro's Point is a whale-dig site, and they offer family whale dig times there (just check your Personal Navigator). How cute will it be to see your little guy carefully excavating a whale skeleton with a paintbrush? They offer this in Scuttle's Cove too, but it is more fun to go with him during the family digs!
He'll also love Spring-A-Leak, the huge splash pad area for little ones. Geysers and pop jets squirt water all over for some wet and wild fun. Little ones also love Grouper Game Pavilion. There are huge size checkers, huge Connect-Four games, and more!
Keep an eye on your Personal Navigator which will also list the character dance parties. My kids have loved these ever since they were little, and still really enjoy dancing the day away with Mickey and Minnie to some fun island tunes! Be sure your camera is ready!
You're in for a wonderful time, Kelli! Have fun planning!
