Hi! I am taking my 4yos to the part for the 1st time. Very last minute trip, just booked it a week ago, taking place in a week. I am worried about food, and what to see. Would you help with suggestions on what we should see, and where to eat. Thanks

    Hi Holly!

Some of the best trips are spontaneous ones! I'm so excited that you and your daughter will be heading off to Walt Disney World soon. You're both going to have an amazing time!

There are so many things for preschoolers to see and do at Walt Disney World that your days will be full of fun and magic. There are Attractions for every thrill level and interest in each of the theme parks. Be sure to take a look at the height restrictions listed for each attraction before you head to the parks. Knowing in advance which attractions your daughter will be able to ride is a great way to avoid a disappointed child later in the day.

The Magic Kingdom is a great theme park to start off your trip. Here you'll find many classics like it's a small world, Peter Pan's Flight and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. If your daughter is a bit adventurous and likes a thrill, then The Barnstormer is a perfect first roller coaster to try. With Goofy as your co-pilot you're sure to have a great time.

For wildlife and animal lovers, Disney's Animal Kingdom can't be missed! From the African savanna of Kilimanjaro Safaris to the hands-on Affection Station,  you'll see some of the most exotic - and cutest - animals in the World!

You shouldn't have any trouble with finding great dining options as well. There are fun, quick-service restaurants in all of the theme parks. No reservations are needed for these locations. If you'd like to have an extra magical dining experience, a meal which includes the Disney Characters is the perfect way to go. The best advice is to be persistent, and flexible. If you are, you'll like be able to grab a last minute Character Dining reservation. Just keep checking back, as guests often change up their plans as vacations get closer. It never hurts to look for slightly different times as well, a late breakfast can double as an early lunch or a late lunch can be an early dinner.

Last, but not least, don't skip the stroller. You'd be surprised how large Walt Disney World is and how tired little ones will be at the end of a theme park day!

No matter where you dine, or which attractions you experience, I'm sure you'll have a great time. After all, the best magic often happens when we least expect it!
