Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are taking our 2 year old son this summer and he loves Mickey Mouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, as well as many other disney characters. What are some must see shows and how do I sign up for them? Also, is there a breakfast with Mickey option

    Hi Lacey! Thanks for visiting us here on the Moms Panel and congratulations on your very first trip to Walt Disney World!

    I predict that your son is going to have a great time this summer meeting his favorite Disney characters. He can meet Mickey Mouse and friends in each of the 4 theme parks. Jake meets guests in Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios and characters from Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Little Einsteins appear in Disney Junior - Live on Stage! 

    These attractions, shows and character meet-and-greets are included in your theme park admission and don't require any special sign up to experience them. Just be sure to check the Times Guide when you enter the theme parks for the latest schedules and times. 

    You can make an Advanced Dining Reservation at Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios where Jake and his friends from Disney Junior are in attendance to meet their fans and pose for photos. As for breakfast with Mickey, the best places are Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort and Tusker House at Animal Kingdom theme park. You may also want to check out Mickey's Backyard BBQ for dinner.
