    We will be taking our 10 year old son to Disney World for the first time in March. We would like to experience one of the water parks. Which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your response

    Hi Andrea!

    How exciting to be planning your son's first Walt Disney World vacation!  My family has spent many days at both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. That being said, Disney's Blizzard Beach is our favorite water park for its unique theming, exciting waterslides and Ski Patrol Training Camp, a fun area designed for school-age children and tweens. Ski Patrol Training Camp features a really cool zip line and floating iceberg course that you cross while grabbing hold of a suspended cargo net overhead. My twin boys could spend hours in this section alone. I also prefer the family raft ride, Teamboat Springs, at Disney's Blizzard Beach. Although my three sons love the Surf Pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, they are definitely partial to the slides at Disney's Blizzard Beach.
