Taking my 5 year old grandson for his first visit to Magic Kingdom and I want to know if the park will allow you to bring in bottled water and snacks? My grandson gets a sugar drop occasionally so it helps to have something on hand for him to snack on

Hi Pam!  You're going to make so many special memories with your grandson at Walt Disney World.   Some of my fondest memories from my childhood are past trips I took to The Most Magical Place on Earth with my grandparents.    I hope you enjoy every magical moment together.

Guests are welcome to bring snacks and bottled water into the theme parks.  I have a small soft sided cooler bag that I fill with lots of yummy, healthy treats for my children.   My husband likes to call it our "bag of tricks".  We can often cure a temper tantrum, or make a queue line seem to move a little faster with a bag of goldfish, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  We even like to bring flavored drink mixes that you can add to bottles of water.

Pam, have you found our Grand Adventure page?  This fun section of the Walt Disney World website provides vacation planning tips, and special offers especially suited for Grandparents and their littlest traveling buddies.   I hope you have a great time on your adventure with your grandson.  Please let me know when I can assist you again!

    Have a Disney Day,
