    Taking 9 year old granddaughter on Fantasy Cruise in April. Info on carrying and handling of wave phones. How do they keep phones from being "lost" during water activities? Thanks

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question!  I know you are looking forward to experiencing the excitement and wonder of a Disney Cruise through the eyes of your granddaughter!  I'm sure many magical moments will be shared between the two of you on your April sailing.
    The Wave phones can be used onboard and on Castaway Cay to call another Wave phone, stateroom phone or shipboard phone.  They are similar in size to a regular cell phone so they can easily slip into a pocket or small purse.  I usually bring a small bag that I carry my sunscreen, Wave phone, book, and Personal Navigator (daily cruise newsletter) around in.  I also throw a few Ziplock bags in my luggage so I keep electronics safe from sand and water.  If your granddaughter plans to carry the Wave phone around I would see if she has some type of fanny pack, or bag she can wear across her body so she is less likely to lose it.  There are plenty of chairs both onboard and on Castaway Cay to set your Wave phone down on with your towel and other belongings.  I don't think you will have any problem with them getting lost.  On the website, Etsy, I have seen holders made specifically for the Wave phones on Disney Cruise Line.  If you search, "Wave phone holders Disney" you can see what sellers have come up with for Disney Cruise Line cruisers.
